Getting started
My Activities
Your home page: what is overdue or due soon, every active project you work on, your activities and tasks in each, and the documents and conversations that go with them.
- Everyone
My Activities is the page everyone lands on after signing in. It answers one question: what needs you now? It counts what is overdue and due soon, lists each active project you work on, and inside each project shows only your own activities and their tasks.
You never set a status here. Every status and chip is worked out from the plan's dates and the tasks you complete, so the page stays true without anyone updating it by hand. If most of your work is assigned activities, the Member guide is a short tour of the same page.
The page at a glance
At the top, a greeting sums up your day, for example "You have 1 activity overdue and 1 thread needing a reply." or "You're all caught up." Below it are the three count tiles, a search box and one card per project.
Threads that need your reply or that you have not opened, across all your projects.
How many of your open activities fall in each. Start with Overdue.
One card per project. Click the name to open or close it.
Your activities on this project, its documents, and its threads.
Team and name, status, chips such as Critical path, and the planned dates.
Click a task to open it and do what it asks.
Overdue, Due today and Due this week
The tiles count your own open activities across every project on the page. Each activity is counted once, by its planned end date:
- Overdue
- The planned end date has passed and the activity is not complete.
- Due today
- The planned end date is today.
- Due this week
- The planned end date is in the next seven days, after today.
Completed activities are not counted and do not appear on the page. The tiles only count; to act, open the project card that holds the activity.
Which projects appear
A project gets a card when it is active (created, and not closed) and at least one of these is true:
- An activity in it is assigned to you.
- You are its PM. Your card may then show no activities of your own, but its Docs and Conversations tabs still work.
- Someone tagged you in one of its threads.
Cards are ordered by urgency: projects with an overdue activity first, then one due today, then a thread needing your reply, then an unread thread, then the most open activities, and finally by name. Type in Search projects… to narrow the list by project name.
If you have no active project, the page says "You have no active projects assigned to you right now." Draft projects, projects waiting for creation approval and closed projects do not appear.
Inside a project card
A folded card shows the project name, conversation badges such as "1 thread tagged" or "1 new thread", and a summary such as "2 activities due (1 overdue, 1 this week)". Click the name to open it.
The Activities tab
Activities lists only the activities assigned to you, never other people's work. They are split into two groups:
- ACTIVE NOW
- Activities whose work has started or whose dates need attention: In progress, Delayed, Critical or Near critical.
- UPCOMING
- Activities that have not started yet.
Each activity shows its team and name, its status, its planned start and end, and chips: Critical path when a delay to it moves the launch date, Near critical when it has very little slack. An overdue activity is highlighted. When you own sub-activities, they appear under their parent activity with their own tasks. The statuses are explained on Activities and tasks.
- Click a task. It opens beside the page and says what it needs: a document, a checklist, some fields or a review.
- Do the work. Use Save progress to keep a half-done checklist or form. Mark task complete stays unavailable until everything mandatory is done.
- Check the result. A completed task shows Done. When every mandatory task is done, the activity completes and leaves the page.
A task whose document a reviewer rejected shows Rejected — upload again ›: open it and upload the corrected file. If the activities before yours are not finished yet, Srishti refuses to complete a task with "This activity is not open for work yet." Full steps for each task type are on Complete your tasks.
Docs and Conversations
Docs lists the project's documents you are allowed to see, with the activity each belongs to, its version and its status: Not yet uploaded, Uploaded, Checked, Approved, Rejected (check) or Rejected (approval). Documents that still need work come first. Click an uploaded document to preview it; the preview is view only.
Conversations shows the project's threads in three groups: NEEDS YOUR REPLY, UNREAD and READ. Click a thread to read and reply, or choose + New thread to start one and tag the people who must answer. See Conversations.
The conversations bell
The bell at the top right of the page counts threads, across all your projects, that need you:
- Needs your reply
- You are tagged in the thread and the latest message is not yours.
- Unread
- You have never opened the thread and the latest message is not yours.
Click the bell to see each thread with its project, its group and who posted last. Pick one and Srishti opens that project's card on the thread. The count refreshes every minute while the page is open. The bell covers conversations only; approvals have their own card, and everything else is under Notifications in the left menu.
